Positive Characteristics of GT Children
Some of the wonderful characteristics of GT children may include "early and rapid learning, superior reasoning, high curiosity, wide and advanced interests, greater self-awareness, independence, creativity, and a good sense of humor" (Davis, 2006, p. 45).
"The most-often cited characteristic of gifted children is that, compared with average children of the same chronological age, they are ahead in language and thinking. They are precocious" (Davis, 2006, p. 31).
